This position will support LLUHS`s strategic plan and the organization`s mission to continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ, while embracing the core values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Wholeness. The Marketing Specialist Sr has a primary obligation to be knowledgeable and fully understand all aspects of the Signature Program. Responsible for the administration and direction of promotional and marketing services and activities for specified Signature Program. Responsible for developing, monitoring and evaluating the overall promotional services of specific Signature Program to assure optimal professional, payor, community and patient awareness of such programs. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required. Master's degree preferred. Applicable years of experience will be accepted in lieu of education. Minimum of three years' experience in marketing analysis for a healthcare organization, advertising or marketing agency, or media company. Should have specific experience in facilitating focus groups, sales, developing mail, and telephone surveys, and the ability to statistically analyze and evaluate results. Must have demonstrated experience in healthcare marketing. Able to keyboard 40 wpm. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position. Must be able to present oneself in front of an audience, ability to travel to necessary seminars and meetings.
